Well, I've been teased by some of you because I don't respect the rythm of Post I wanted for this blog, about two Posts a week. You're right, but it's a big work to prepare an album, furthermore when you decide to make a new video, contradicting what you said some weeks before. So, we have made a new video, "Miles Davis et Charlie Parker", adapted from a standard of Miles Davis and Gil Evans called "Boplicity". The Video Clip is funny so I really hope you'll appreciate the Music too...

I have opened my Myspace page last august but until now, I didn't care about it. I have at last begun to work on it this week, and it's much more interesting than I thought. Some of you have sent me emails to tell me : "Well, your blog is cool but we would prefer to listen to your Music". I must say that they were right. It was a bit long for me to propose you clips of my work but I had a good reason. Instead of just proposing you an audio-clip in MP3, we have made a small video-clip on the track "A night in Tunisia". Even if this video is very basic, it's much more interesting for you. Nevertheless, according to the charge of work, we won't do that for all the album.
We sent this Video on youtube but the image was totally distorded and there was a need of about 10 minutes to download the video. We have then choosed Dailymotion that works much better. This is not perfect but you can see the images and listen to the music, that's the main thing. Now, it's up to you to judge...

The studio is working again since about ten days. So, I have been able to take the working rythm because I am sometimes a bit slow, stopping on details or even on nothing. I must then force on me to go faster. And now, results are coming. I have just finished my guitar version of a "night in tunisia" of Dizzie Gillespie. I'll try to put this track online in the next days, and I hope you'll enjoy it. After that, I am finishing a Jazz-Blues song with french lyrics. The title is "Ce mec Bluffe" that means "This guy is bluffing". It is almost finished but I always find a thing to change ... And Last but not least, I am working on a bebop track from Miles Davis, adding on it french lyrics. It's a bet, very risky. I give a try, you will judge !
I will put these songs online in the next weeks. I really hope you will appreciate as it's mainly for others that I make music.

It has not been very easy but our Control surface "Control 24" has been repaired. The Technical Support from Digidesign has been very efficient and has changed the power supply for free even if we had no more warranty. It seems they have had tons of problems with these power supplies but Digidesign has been honest and has not tried to deny or to be of bad faith with us. So now the problem is over, and we can restart our recordings ! Greeeaaat !
