I quickly felt the potential popularity of the song "Le soleil de la Mediterranee", especially with the first reactions when we finished the production. And even if Tara nor Gabriel nor myself are notorious artists, we have already had more than 10.000 visits in 2 months on the Video sharing site Dailymotion. It's not that important, but it's nevertheless a little satisfaction because it's anonymous visitors, what we call the "Real Public", who watches the Video. Because I must say that by the side of professionals (Radios etc...), none have replied to our emails. That's usual and we take and we will as long as needed. I will realize this project. They have to accept it !

If you love the Bossa-nova, lounge and jazzy tracks, you can love the new song "Le soleil de la mediterranee" (the sun of the Mediterranean Sea). Recorded in january 2009, it has quickly been an evidence that it needed a video clip. We made it (not that easy), and you can now discover the excellent singer Tara and her voluptuous voice. Moreover, if you come often to this blog, you have seen that it's Gabriel Midon who plays almost all of my keyboards. You know now that this guy is not so far of a music genious, as he is also a great saxophonist.

I began to have a great interest in Jazz things after having listened to some Acid Jazz and Funky Jazz artists playing Jazz. I think of course to the Brand New Heavies, to Jamiroquai, to Chaka Khan, to Georges Benson and many more, but I must say that the Album "The Antidote" from the english artist Ronny Jordan was a "schock" for me ! It's not real Jazz for Jazz purists, but I loved this album and still love it more than 15 years after. The main track was a free interpretation of "So What" of Miles Davis and I always wanted to play this track. I do it now and here is the Video. Now Groove !!

This autumn has been prolific as we have now five songs finished. You already know two of them in Video. We keep the other tracks for the next months. Nevertheless, as a fan of the "Lounge Sound", I think it's necessary to propose you soon a small video-clip of the song "Le soleil de la Mediterranee" (the Sun of the Mediterranean Sea), that is a Bossa-Nova Lounge Production. We have just finished the recordings and now I'm doing the mix. The female vocale is done by the excellent TARA, and the Saxophone played by the excellent (too) Gabriel MIDON (that plays also the Piano). I loved producing this song and I really hope you will love it too. The Video-clip will be finished the end of December. It will be online imediatly, of course...

Well, I've been teased by some of you because I don't respect the rythm of Post I wanted for this blog, about two Posts a week. You're right, but it's a big work to prepare an album, furthermore when you decide to make a new video, contradicting what you said some weeks before. So, we have made a new video, "Miles Davis et Charlie Parker", adapted from a standard of Miles Davis and Gil Evans called "Boplicity". The Video Clip is funny so I really hope you'll appreciate the Music too...
